We recently got the opportunity to try out a Shred Sled and I must admit I was a bit intimidated when it arrived in the box. My son is an almost 8 year old dare devil so I figured he would be thrilled to give this a try....and he was!! We made sure he was padded up and wearing a helmet and we let him go at it. He tried and tried, but didn't have much luck for the first few days. My husband then offered to give it a whirl, but I suggested he not- fearing that he might break something important (a leg, hip, neck, etc.)
We have an adult friend, however, who is a bit younger than my husband and I who was a skater in his former life and he offered to give it a try. In minutes he was whipping around like crazy, doing tricks and all kinds of crazy maneuvers. He loved it and gave me confidence that as my little guy continues to work on it he will soon master the Shred Sled.
